Would appreciate any information on this family who emigrated to Aust 1851/52.
Robert and Sarah m. about 1851 in Spalding.
Their second daughter Mary Rebecca King b 1854 is my husband's great grandmother. Mary Rebecca has a distinct Meditteranean appearance and an interview with her in 1935 tells of her identifying her mother as an "Englishwoman" but perhaps her father may have been of other origins ?
Any help appreciated.
