William James Dunning was also my ancestor. He was my great grandfather. I know this was placed in 2004 but I was wondering if you have had much luck. I know William Sixsmith was engine driver number 1 in NSW and has potraits and the engine in the power house museum in Sydney. Sandy
: I'm researching my family history and have found that one of my ancestors, William James Dunning, was married to Maria Sixsmith in Sydney, Australia on 14 Sep 1874. On the Marriage Certificate Her place of birth is given as Lincoln and her parents are named William Sixsmith and Maria Townsend. Does anyone have any information about this family, anything would be appreciated.
